Sajmo1, if you remember he played right mid when he joined and for me that was and still probably his best position. He was scoring loads of goals from there.
Then Bilic tried to turn him into a right wing back and nearly ruined him.
He is a handful and has done a great job up front, but still feel he is up there because we never really have had anyone good enough recently.

Diop is not good enough. Bring back The General and Ogbonna.

Sven I'm not strictly talking about yesterday's game, to me his movement just doesn't look the same since the injury. He's scored goals this season but I didn't like the look of him in the any of the games he's played since returning from the injury. He definitely isn't someone who should start for a team fighting for europe thus why we are getting an expensive striker next season rather then just a backup for Antonio.

Have you ever played up front Sajmo?
If you dont have the support of others pressing and pushing up its a pretty thankless job of being piggy in the middle as two or three defenders pass it around you.
Plus he knows there is NOONE on the bench to replace if he runs himself ragged in 70 mins

Antonio has been excellent for us and kept us up last season but he is physically capable of about 20 starts a season.
It wont happen but we need 2 more players in that position next season. In an ideal world its a 19/20 yo to develop like SIMA of SLAVIA PRAGUE plus someone who can play from day 1.
Unfortunately we have GSB in place

I think it’s been asked already, but can some one tell me what Diop was doing against Greenwood, showing him on his left foot?

🤷‍♂️

Yeah he just doesn't seem the same player, seems to me like he's losing his speed which was one of his only 2 strengths realistically..

Sajmo he clearly isnt fit and/or is worried about his hamstrings.
This is on sullivan and squad strength.

No.

"Am I the only one who thinks that Antonio working hard is a myth?"

He hasn't been recently. Who knows whether that's down to injury, or because he doesn't have any competition for that role?

What makes you think henis going to learn now? He has been playing the same tactics all his managerial career

Am I the only one who thinks that Antonio working hard is a myth? He just doesn't do enough for me. He does an occasional sprint when we lose the ball in the middle of the pitch but never gets close to actually winning the ball. If you add that to his way-below standard technique you get a very average player despite his strength. I believe we'll see a massive difference if we actually manage to sign a proper striker in the summer. Probably gonna get battered for saying this

Been defensive of Moyes in big games, as throughout the season we've put in decent performances against the "bigger" teams, but for some reason Moyes seems to shit himself against Liverpool and Utd.

Totally confusing line up, Noble is way past it and should be used in later parts of the game to help "see out" victories.

Totally inexcusable the setup yesterday.

Re: ⚽ Man Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 1-0
We've 4 huge home games in arsenal Leicester Chelsea and Everton and instead of going for it and trying to win them moyes will go totally defensive again which will cost us.

Re: ⚽ Man Utd v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 1-0
I don't often criticise Moyes but he got this totally wrong. Both Benrahma and Lanzini need a platform to attempt to show they had a good performance in them, this was the time. Crazy for Moyes to dream about a top 4 finish and go out to attempt to play for a point from the word go, hopefully he will learn the lesson and this will be the last time.

Having said that our bench is amazingly pathetic. Are we the only premiership club who put 8 on the bench when we could play 9? And just look at the 8, 2 keepers, 2 central defenders, 2 kids plus Lanzini and Benrahma the last 2 the only ones ever likely to be brought on.

Thanks to Sullivan we have a squad which would never survive a season if it included playing in Europe. We must bring decent players in without selling any of our best players and I don't see Sullivan investing anything like the amount of money needed to do that so time to recognise the obvious and GET OUT Please!
